Marsha flips out on the dark House floor

The picture below is very fitting. Phil Gingrey (GA-11) is MB's male counterpart. dKosopedia sums it up for us: "Fifty-three year old Republican Marsha Blackburn ranks with Phil Gingrey as one of the most ideologically conservative and partisan members of the U.S. House of Representatives." Will he replace Dubya as MB's BFF in Washington starting 1.20.09?

As for the flipping out part...

Limousine conservatives "fighting" for the American people...and their oil companies.

Republicans are not going to play I-told-you-so, but it is pretty obvious that the tax reductions passed in 2003 helped Americans dig out of a recession and get back to work.

Our tax policies, the tax relief and reform we passed in 2003 and 2005, helped get government out of the way of America's entrepreneurs, and our unemployment rate is now lower than it was in the 1970s, the 1980s, and the 1990s.

It is time that we begin to fine tune our focus and decide what the priority of government ought to be.
