Holy Mother
OK... so I usually refrain from watching Sean Hannity. In my mind, the ramifications of watching it are equatable with what happens when you say b-o-m-b at the airport, or if you happen across an Al-Qaeda website. BUT, you have got to see this clip of Congressman Marsha B. re: climate change.
Ain't she folksy?!! And I just love how right-wingers say they are pro-environment because they like to ride their bikes, ski, or plant flowers. Forget the rainforests, the oceans, the sky, etc etc... just as long as there's no litter, everything's AOK!

Republicans are preparing for a trip to Copenhagen and looking to derail Democratic efforts to negotiate an international climate agreement.
About a half-dozen Republicans will make the trip to Denmark to oppose plans for cap-and-trade legislation, express their discontent with the scientific community that researches climate change and call for the United Nations to halt any negotiations until the academic scandal known as “Climategate” is resolved.
At least Texas Rep. Joe Barton, the ranking Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, along with Republican Reps. Jim Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin, Darrell Issa of California and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee are making the trip.
House Republican leaders Tuesday laid out their plans for the U.N. climate conference, which will be to essentially buck all Democratic climate-change platforms.
“In the worst recession in 26 years, in the midst of an academic scandal and questionable science revealed in ‘Climategate’ and in the absence of a national consensus about policies that would bear upon the category known as climate change, we gather here to say, Mr. President, don’t make promises in Copenhagen that we cant keep,” said House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence of Indiana.
Republicans are in the minority in both the House and Senate. So, their opposition to both legislation and treaties means little on the national stage, let alone the international stage. But their words could be a distraction for the Democratic president, who’s attending the conference next week.

Climate change skeptic Blackburn headed to Copenhagen summit
WASHINGTON - Rep. Marsha Blackburn says the only climate change she believes in are the four seasons in her native Tennessee.
So that promises to make her upcoming trip to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen especially interesting.
Blackburn, who is going as part of a congressional delegation, said her role will be to represent a dissenting outlook on whether human activity is causing global warming while still pushing for steps to reduce the carbon emissions that many experts cite as the cause of climate change.
"We're all for cleaner air, cleaner water and creating more clean energy," Blackburn said Thursday.
During the conference, Blackburn plans to push for expansion of nuclear power, a cause also championed by Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander. She also will focus on developments in biofuels and lithium-ion batteries for cars. Both are the focus of efforts in Tennessee to create green jobs.
Blackburn will be attending at taxpayer expense in her role as a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Select Committee for Energy Independence and Global Warming. She said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has arranged for two planes to carry the U.S. congressional delegation to the conference.
The climate change conference begins Dec. 7. The goal of the conference is to make progress toward an international treaty to reduce emissions.
