Some more funniness-ness

From right-wing extremist Gov. Rick Perry, via CNN...

Texas governor says secession possible
Posted: 10:45 AM ET

(CNN) — Texas Gov. Rick Perry isn't ruling out the possibility his state may one day secede from the nation.

Speaking to an energetic and angry tea party crowd in Austin Wednesday evening, the Lone Star State governor suggested secession may happen in the future should the federal government not change its fiscal polices.

"There's a lot of different scenarios," Perry said. "We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."

His comments come a week after endorsing a resolution in the Texas state House reasserting state sovereignty over federal mandates.

Specifically it states that "all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions or that requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed."

Should Texas one day secede, one man may already be vying to be its president. Actor Chuck Norris said last month he may be interested in the post.

“I may run for president of Texas,” Norris wrote in a column posted at WorldNetDaily. “That need may be a reality sooner than we think. If not me, someone someday may again be running for president of the Lone Star state, if the state of the union continues to turn into the enemy of the state.”

Chuck Norris thinks that the U.S. gov't is turning into the enemy of the state? Does this not sound like un-patriotic, terrorist-style speak? Better get Rep. Bachmann on this guy!

Today is so much fun!!!!!

From the Tennessean...

GOP lawmaker wants resolution to reject socialism

A Republican state lawmaker wants the Tennessee General Assembly to pass a resolution to oppose socialism in the United States.

Rep. Brian Kelsey, a Germantown Republican, wants to add the wording to a resolution he is sponsoring to call on the governor to reject money from the federal stimulus package.
Kelsey says the resolution would "strongly urge the federal government to reject attempts to establish socialism as a form of government in America."

Is he for real? Ask him. rep.brian.kelsey@legislature.state.tn.us

USE IT FREELY!!!

The G-Funk declares today as the day that liberals and all educated, level-headed Americans start using "correct" terminology. Thank you, DHS, for bringing back words that FOX News took from us!

Thus...

RIGHT-WING EXTREMISTS

will take the place of so-called conservatives.

Here's a run-down of the teabaggers' party in Nashvegas. Who do you think was in attendance?!!

FYI, my friends

From my friend Chuck Todd...

Let’s be clear about one thing: These tea parties are hardly non-partisan events. While there’s certainly a grassroots component here, these parties have been co-opted by a major America political party (the RNC's Web site allows for creating send-a-tea-bag post cards to Dem leaders) and an entire cable news channel (which has been promoting the events). The main Web site for the events today, Tax Day Tea Party, is funded by conservative groups, and a public records search shows it's registered to a conservative techie, Allen B. Fuller, who used to be a legislative correspondent for GOP Sen. Richard Shelby and who touts creating Web sites for Republican elected officials. Also reportedly involved in today’s protest events are FreedomWorks, a conservative group founded by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, and Americans for Prosperity.

If you see a Republican on Wednesday, tea on them.

From the oh so inclusive TNGOP...

The average Tea Party crowd will be filled with mainstream taxpayers who believe in the Second Amendment, the Constitution, limited government, low taxes, and fiscal responsibility. If that includes you, be warned: the Left has begun a campaign - in the mainstream media and on liberal blogs - to demonize you as a racist wacko.

I find it somewhat amusing that the TNGOP had this op-ed immediately following their Tea Party warning...

Although the liberal mainstream media often tries to marginalize Christians and portray Christian faith as archaic, the truth is quite the opposite: Christian faith and beliefs are mainstream in America.

This profound observation is qualified by a list of statistics from Rasmussen re: the average American's Christian beliefs.

Alls I have to say is why would the media and educated Americans need to demonize Republicans any more? I thought that it was universally accepted that today's GOP is the party of exclusivity?

Beware of possible Anarchists

I invite you to watch this video on healthcare and guess if Rep. Blackburn would agree with the narrator, who is admittedly one of her admirers. I warn you, he sounds creepy... you know, the kind of creepy that signals hate-crime tendencies.

Does the GOP agree with Queen Annie C.?

I just stumbled across this gem...

"Instead of having Planned Parenthood distribute condoms in schools, they ought get the NRA to pass out revolvers. It would save more lives."

Desperate Republicans

Idiotic, as usual...

Thursday, April 2, 2009

One gadrillion dollars!!!!

Wait, wait, wait... one hundred bazillion dollars!!! Out of YOUR wallet! One hundred bazillion dollars. Going to ACORN. It's true. Don't laugh! It's true!

I find it amusing that Republicans like Rep. Blackburn use the whole "government is bad" argument. Ahh, it's fun to cherry-pick, ain't it?! When your reasoning isn't based on logic, you can win any argument!

Are you "like-minded" like Marsha?

Money, money, money! MO-ney!

Friends,

As you know we are continuing to fight the onslaught of increased spending and regulation in Washington D.C. It seems there is something new every day: The stimulus, the omnibus, card check, attacks on life, the unconstitutional move to have voting Congressional seats represent the city of Washington D.C., White House control of the census, nationalization of the student loan program, diminishment of charitable contributions, reduction in home mortgage deductions, nationalization of healthcare and the imposition of the cap and tax scheme. It goes on and on.

Some of you are asking, “Where does it all end?” and “What can I do about it?”

Our hope is to have this liberal onslaught end with the American people getting energized and joining us in this fight to preserve freedom and free enterprise. At this point we are aggressively fighting the imposition of the $3.6 trillion Obama budget which will give us at least another $1.4 trillion in debt!

I need your help. Will you please forward this message to all your “like minded” friends and family members? Make a contribution of $36 to my re-election effort to help me with the fight.

Thank you,

Marsha
